Please join us in person at Suffolk Law School or viritually on Thursday, October 3rd from 4 pm to 5:30 pm for “Is Private Equity Investment in Health Care Compatible with Achieving Health Equity?” for the annual Health Law & Policy Forum examining the role of private equity in health care and regulatory responses.

Speakers include:

  • David Blumenthal, former President of the Commonwealth Fund and National Coordinator for Health Information Technology under President Obama and current Professor of Practice of Public Health and Health Policy at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health
  • Laura Katz Olson, Professor of Political Science at Lehigh University and author of the award-winning book “Ethically Challenged: Private Equity Storms U.S. Health Care” and other highly regarded books on health care policy
  • Renée M. Landers, Moderator, Professor of Law and Faculty Director, Health and Biomedical Law Concentration and Master of Science in Law: Life Sciences program at Suffolk University Law School

This free, hybrid event is open to the Suffolk University community, Suffolk Law School students and faculty, as well as local health law scholars and professionals. Instructions for virtual attendance will be sent closer to the event date.
