Monday, November 10 **Special IEW Pre-Launch Event:

• Navigating Careers Across Borders: A Global Student Panel
  • Time: 3:00 - 5:00 pm
  • Are you an international student exploring career opportunities in the U.S.? Or are you a student curious about working abroad and building a global career? Join us for Navigating Careers Across Borders, a dynamic and insightful event designed to support students navigating career decisions beyond their home country.

Tuesday, November 18: 

• Put Your Study Abroad Experience to Work
  • Time: 12:30 - 1:30 
  • Learn how study abroad will set you apart when joining the workforce. Hear from the Career Center and Study Abroad team about how they used their experience to begin their career and even go abroad after college.

Wednesday, November 19

• Chew on This: International Student Experience
  • Time: 11:00 - 1:00 pm
  • Join us for “Chew on This,” a series of student-led panel discussions! We are hosting the 1st ever International Student focused panel for the Chew of This Series. This is a series of student-focused panel discussions and luncheons hosted by Suffolk University, in partnership with the university's Center for Student Diversity & Inclusion, and the Counseling, Health & Wellness. Where students, faculty, and staff can engage in conversation, such as understanding the experiences of first-generation students or destigmatizing mental health. Our panel will be centered on the international student identity and the international experience.

  • Graduating soon? Already an alumni? Thinking about OPT, H-1B, and life after Suffolk? We invite an immigration attorney to speak about immigration options for international students after graduation.

• International Faculty and Student Mixer
  • Time: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
  • Students and faculty from SBS, CAS, and LAW are invited to join us for a mixer in celebration of International Education Week. Come meet faculty outside the classroom, hear about their global experiences, and connect with fellow students from around the world. It’s a great chance to build community, share stories, and learn from one another. Enjoy a variety of international foods, take part in fun activities, and make new connections. • Global Trivia
  • Time: 12:30 - 1:30
  • Enjoy global themed trivia with friends to kick of International Education Week! Enjoy food and compete for a chance to win prizes.

• International Night
  • 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • A trip around the world...all in one night! This event is a chance for all students to experience the diverse cultures of Suffolk University students. Student representatives of over 20 countries will be there sharing their food, music, dancing, languages, and other cultural experiences.
