This free, half-day conference and networking event will take place at Suffolk University (Keches Room, 1st floor of Sargent Hall) on Wednesday April 29, 2026, from 9AM-1PM, and is centered around the changing nature of information and media environments, libraries' roles as places of free speech and information, addressing censorship, finding trusted and accessible media sources, mitigating AI use, and supporting community outreach. It will feature a keynote speech and Q&A discussion led by New England First Amendment Coalition President (and Suffolk Professor) Greg Sullivan, and lightning talk presentations by member libraries from 9 AM-1 PM. Refreshments and food will be provided. All Suffolk faculty and staff are welcome to attend. The deadline to register for this event is April 17th, 2026.
