Inspired by Randy Pausch’s iconic lecture, "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," which reflected on living fully and creating a meaningful legacy, the memoir The Last Lecture distills the humor, inspiration, and profound lessons of his lecture into a lasting legacy that will resonate with readers for generations.

Suffolk University’s “The Last Lecture” offers faculty and staff a chance to share their most profound insights, passions, and reflections as if it were their final opportunity to address our community. This event celebrates the impact of our educators and inspires students and colleagues alike.

The Fall 2025 speaker, Kimberley Ring, is a seasoned communications professional with over twenty years of experience and a love for all things marketing and public relations. She is the founder of Ring Communications, an integrated marketing consultancy that works with clients in the sports, hospitality, and lifestyle industries. A passionate educator, she brings innovative and experiential learning methods to all marketing courses she teaches. In addition, she is the founder of Suffolk in the Hub, the first student-run marketing agency delivering creative and strategic direct, digital, public relations, and social media projects to start-up and solopreneur small businesses in and around Boston.
